With a handful of teams also competing in Round 5 of the FFA Cup SEQ this week, it’s a busy week for Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL) clubs as Round 8 kicks off on Saturday night.
The FQPL Match of the Round will see Logan Lightning host Ipswich Knights on Saturday night, and can be viewed live on the FQ website, FQ Facebook and FQ YouTube channel.
Having lost only one game out of seven so far this season, Logan Lightning will look to secure another win to continue their surge on the top of the table.
Ipswich Knights on the other hand have had a mixed bag of results so far this season, and will come into this game off the back of a 4-0 defeat to Rochedale Rovers last week.
Last time the two sides met resulted in a 3-3 draw in Round 20 of last year.
