ABOUT
The Kappa Women’s Super Cup is an historic new state-wide women’s knockout tournament for women and girls in Queensland delivered by Football Queensland.
The groundbreaking tournament provides clubs from around the state, from community level to National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland sides, with the opportunity to come up against teams from other regions and leagues.
The inaugural year of the tournament kicked off in March 2021 to coincide with the centenary season of women’s football in Queensland and was won by Lions FC, who went on to claim the treble.
In 2022, 68 teams nominated to join the competition from across the state with NPL Women’s and FQPL 1 teams joining in Round 3.
Conference split:
- South East Queensland (including Metro, South Coast, Darling Downs and Sunshine Coast)
- Central & Northern Queensland (including Central Coast, Whitsunday Coast, Northern and Far North & Gulf)
The South East Queensland qualification region will compete for three (3) qualification spots and the Central & Northern Queensland qualification region will compete for one (1) spot in the Semi Finals.
