Eastern Suburbs FC in Brisbane are holding a Female Football Gala Day for their PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues matchday this Saturday, 12 March.
The celebration forms part of Female Football Week, which runs from 8-14 March and recognises the role of women and girls across the game.
Easts will host Gold Coast City in three PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues matches including U13 Girls, U15 Girls and the showpiece Women’s match at 3.00pm.
An all-female team of referees – Tegan Jones, Vanessa Martens and Cathy Temple – will officiate the Women’s match.
The day will also see both clubs award certificates of appreciation to nominated female players, coaches, volunteers and administrators, while anyone in attendance will have the chance to claim prize giveaways.
