Fixtures for the 2019 FFA Cup Semi Finals have been announced this morning following an eventful round of Quarter Finals held across Tuesday and Wednesday night this week.
National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland side Brisbane Strikers will host Hyundai A-League powerhouse Melbourne City in the first of the two Semi Finals on Tuesday, 1 October at Perry Park from 7.30pm.
Just three Hyundai A-League teams remain in the FFA Cup competition, while Brisbane Strikers are the only Member Federation club to qualify for the 2019 Semi Finals.
Strikers became the first ever Queensland team to progress to the FFA Cup Semi Finals following their 3-2 victory against NPL Victoria 2’s Moreland Zebras last night.
Fraser Hills and Ryan Palmer linked up frequently throughout the match, with both men involving themselves in all three goals that inevitably saw off a valiant effort from their Victorian opposition.

Strikers will look to continue making history with their remarkable FFA Cup run by booking their place in the Grand Final with a win against Melbourne City.
A comfortable 3-0 victory for Melbourne City against Hyundai A-League opposition Western Sydney Wanderers on Tuesday night was enough to solidify their spot in the Semi Finals where they will meet Strikers.
The second FFA Cup Semi Final will be an all Hyundai A-League clash between Central Coast Mariners and reigning FFA Cup champions Adelaide United, which is set to take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 2 October at Central Coast Stadium.
Central Coast Mariners required a late goal in their match against NPL Victoria side Hume City in their Quarter Final, with Abraham Majok finding the winner in the 92nd minute to send Central Coast Mariners to their first FFA Cup Semi Final since 2014.
Their Semi Final opponents Adelaide United made Hyundai A-League side Newcastle Jets pay after an early send off, when they grabbed the only goal of the game through an Alhassan Toure strike just before half time.
Both Semi Final games will be broadcast live on FOX SPORTS, Kayo Sports, and via the My Football Live App.
