Feature Match: Gap FC v Eastern Suburbs
Perennial contenders Gap FC return to Walton Bridge Reserve to face a dangerous-looking Eastern Suburbs in Sunday afternoon’s Feature Match, to be streamed live via NPL.TV and on the FQ Facebook page.
This will be Gap FC’s second home match this season and first since Imogen Noon hit four goals in an 8-0 win over Moreton Bay United earlier this month.
Easts will have to be at their best to avoid a similar fate but with new signings Allira Toby and Rosie Sutton bolstering their attack, the visitors look to have the firepower to pose problems.
Last season’s three meetings suggest it will be a close contest.
Easts earned a 1-1 draw at Walton Bridge Reserve in April and claimed a 1-0 victory on home soil in August, before the Gap side gained revenge with an entertaining 3-2 win at Cornubia Park in September.

One to Watch: Gold Coast United v Mitchelton FC
Mitchelton will be looking to take the positives out of last weekend’s 4-3 defeat to QAS when they visit Gold Coast United in Saturday’s early game.
Though narrowly beaten, there were clear positives for Mitchelton in that performance and a trip to Coplick Family Sports Park is another chance to impress against strong opposition.
United finished fourth in 2019 and appear set to rival the top teams once more this season.
New recruit Ayesha Norrie could debut in midfield and her teammates will be keen to put on a show, having cooled their heels since taking 10 points from four matches before the hiatus.
