Football Queensland has finalised arrangements for the remainder of the 2021 season for all NPL, FQPL and Metro Brisbane competitions.
“We are delighted to be able to accommodate the remainder of the season across our NPL, FQPL and Metro Brisbane competitions despite the significant challenges presented by the impact of COVID-19 restrictions in South East Queensland,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“Today’s update follows consultation with clubs from each league, who were all invited to submit feedback on their preferences for the completion of the 2021 season and how this could be achieved.
“Over 150 club members joined us for the Metro clubs meeting, and there were more than 90 attendees at the NPL and FQPL club meeting.
“I’d like to thank all clubs and participants for their patience and understanding throughout this time who have worked with us to ensure we can deliver the rest of the season.
“We look forward to seeing competitions back underway across the South East, and wish clubs and participants all the best for the remainder of the 2021 season.”
