Football Queensland is excited to invite nominations for the 2022 Female Football Week Awards which will acknowledge the valuable contributions of individuals and clubs across the women’s game.
Award winners will be recognised throughout Female Football Week from Friday, 6 May to Friday, 13 May 2022 as the Queensland football community celebrates the important role that women and girls play in all parts of the game.
“Female Football Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the members of our football community who contribute so significantly to our women’s game here in Queensland,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“Women and girls are the future of our game and it is these dedicated individuals and clubs who will continue to support the growth of female participation across the state, which is more important now than ever as we prepare to welcome the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 to our shores.
“I’d encourage all members of our football community to submit a nomination across the relevant categories for individuals who they see are making a real contribution to the growth and development of women’s football, both on and off the field.
“We look forward to celebrating the work of these dedicated participants and shining a light on their contributions throughout Female Football Week.”
FQ is inviting nominations across the following categories:
