Football Queensland is pleased to announce a new partnership with Veo Technologies, a global leader in AI-powered sports recording.
The partnership will see Veo become FQ’s preferred autonomous camera provider, with FQ technical and referee staff to use Veo’s AI camera technology across all levels of football to help develop coaches, players and referees.
FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said the partnership would benefit the entire Queensland football community.
“Football Queensland has worked with Veo to give clubs across the state access to their market-leading video analysis technology,” said Cavallucci.
“As a result of this partnership, all FQ affiliated clubs will be entitled to a €100 discount on the purchase of Veo’s camera and subscription.
“Veo’s cameras are used by thousands of clubs around the world, providing an affordable way of recording and analysing matches and training sessions without the need for a camera operator.
“Football Queensland is delivering on its strategic objective to provide greater resources for our clubs to invest in the development of Queensland players and coaches.”
FQ State Technical Director Gabor Ganczer said the partnership would provide invaluable assistance to coach and player education.
“Video analysis has become a crucial aspect of football for both coaches and players,” said Ganczer.
“Veo’s technology allows coaches to get the best out of training sessions and games by helping them to develop players outside of their regular contact time with their team.
“The most powerful learning occurs when players recognise their own key moments in the game and can identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
“This partnership with Veo will be fantastic for recording and analysing training sessions and games for the QAS and Talent Support Program.”
Veo ANZ Market Manager Tom Pettigrew said Veo was delighted to work with FQ to develop football across the state.
“Veo’s goal is to make sports technology accessible to all teams and we’re glad to be able to partner with Football Queensland to provide the football community in Queensland access to our technology,” said Pettigrew.
“We look forward to helping all the players, coaches and parents to level up and improve their game using Veo technology.”
