Football Queensland is now accepting applications for FQ Futsal State Metro coaching positions (volunteer role), with a number of opportunities available across several age groups for both boys and girls teams.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview process for appointment, with successful applicants required wherever possible to be involved as selectors at the 2020 FQ Futsal State Titles over the Easter Weekend, 11 and 12 April.
All State Metro coaches will be expected to attend coaching meetings and professional development training where applicable throughout the year, weekly squad training and final team selection from October to December, as well as travelling with the teams to the FFA National Futsal Championships in January 2021.
Aspiring coaches must have achieved, or emailed an expression of interest to attend, an FFA Community Futsal Coaching Licence.
You will also be required to hold the relevant CCYPCG Blue Card and abide by the Coaches Code of Conduct and Football Queensland Policy and Procedures.
All travel, accommodation and meals for the 2021 Nationals – to be held in January – will be provided, as well as a remuneration payment for services.
Football Queensland will also provide apparel for all coaches to wear whilst performing their duties.
Football Queensland intends to nominate the following teams for the 2021 Nationals:
- 12 Boys, 13 Boys, 14 Boys, 15 Boys, 16 Boys
- 13 Girls, 15 Girls, 17 Girls
- Youth Men & Youth Women
- Open Athletes With Disabilities (AWD) Team
