Football Queensland (FQ) is excited to announce the four squads set to take part at the 2019 FFA National Youth Championships (NYC) for Boys in Coffs Harbour this September and October.
Queensland will field both Country and Metro teams in the Under 13 and Under 14 age groups for the five day tournament which will kick off on Monday, 30 September and conclude on Friday, 4 October.
Played in a round-robin format, the NYC showcases some of the best young talent from each Member Federation.
The 68 players selected in Queensland squads this year come from across the state, from Far North Queensland to the Gold Coast and South West Queensland.
Queensland’s state girls teams set the bar high earlier this month, with the Under 14 side crowned National Champions while the Under 15 girls finished third in their group in their Westfield NYC for Girls campaign.
