We’re now three rounds into the First Group Stage of the Football Queensland (FQ) E-Series competition, and a number of players remain in fine form and are emerging as early leaders across the competition pools.
It’s still early days though, so those participants who may have gotten off to a slower start needn’t worry yet – there’s still plenty of time to show off your skills!
The next round is already underway, and players have until tomorrow night at 11:59pm to complete their Round 4 fixtures.
After Round 3, a number of players have been excluded from the tournament per the FQ E-Series Competition Rules after failing to complete three consecutive matches or attempt to contact their opponent in all three opening round fixtures.
All players who have been excluded will now have all their fixtures in SportsTG recorded as a bye, including previous rounds.
What does this mean for players still participating?
All players will now record a bye for upcoming fixtures when facing an opponent who has been excluded from the tournament. For this reason, all matches previously recorded as a 3-0 win due to a forfeit of a player who has been removed from the competition will now show as a bye instead to ensure consistency across the rounds.
SportsTG has been updated accordingly, and all players can view their results and ladder standings using the instructions below.
Viewing Results and Upcoming Fixtures
SportsTG is still experiencing issues displaying results, but you can still find your First Group Stage fixtures and results, by clicking on your ‘team’ name (Gamer ID) on the fixture page or ladder. On your ‘team’ page, click on ‘Fixtures’ to view all your fixtures and results for every First Group Stage match and each deadline date.
Updated Round Deadlines
Round deadlines are now at 11:59pm on Sunday and Wednesday each week. These new deadlines will be displayed for each fixture on SportsTG.
The next deadline, for Round 4 of the First Group Stage, is tomorrow (Wednesday 15th) at 11:59pm.
Console Privacy Settings
Some players may still have their privacy settings enabled preventing their opponent from finding them. All players must ensure their console privacy settings are set to public.
Sending Video Clips
We want to share the action from the FQ E-Series, so we encourage players to record and provide short clips from their matches to Football Queensland which may be used to create highlight reels, goal packages, funny videos and more.
Videos can be sent to Football Queensland at marketing@footballqueensland.com.au, either sent directly through WeTransfer or shared links via OneDrive or DropBox.
