We’re six rounds down and getting towards crunch time in the First Group Stage of the Football Queensland (FQ) E-Series competition.
FQ would also like to advise Xbox Juniors participants of a change in deadline dates for the remainder of the First Group Stage of the Xbox Juniors competition only due to a variety of factors. See below for more information on why the deadlines have been changed.
Round 6 Results:
PS4 Juniors
PS4 Seniors
Xbox Juniors
Xbox Seniors
Starting from Round 8 of the First Group Stage next week, the playing window for the Xbox Juniors competition will change to a seven day window with all deadlines at 11:59pm each Sunday, instead of each Wednesday and Sunday as it stands currently.
For the remainder of the First Group Stage, Xbox Juniors participants will therefore play multiple games within each match window. See below for specific Round deadlines and information on how many matches must be played within each playing window.
Xbox Juniors participants can play their matches for each upcoming playing window in any order, as long as they do not play any matches that are outside of the current playing window.

Why have these deadlines been changed?
A number of new byes have been added to the Xbox Juniors competition following the removal of players from the tournament after failing to complete three consecutive matches or attempt to contact their opponent on three occasions.
The new deadlines for the Xbox Juniors will therefore prevent participants from having multiple byes for an extended period of time if they are faced with a number of byes in the final rounds of the First Group Stage.
The deadline change will also allow for the Xbox Juniors to finish the first stage of the competition at the same time as both PS4 competitions, so participants from other competitions will not be required to wait a number of weeks to commence the next group stage of the tournament.
Removal of players from the FQ E-Series
A number of players across all four competitions have been removed from the FQ E-Series after failing to complete three consecutive matches or attempt to contact their opponent on three occasions.
This means that all players will now record a bye for upcoming fixtures when facing an opponent who has been removed from the competition. For this reason, all matches previously recorded as a 3-0 win due to a forfeit of a player who has been removed will now show as a bye instead to ensure consistency across the rounds. SportsTG has been updated accordingly.
Result Submission Form Photo
When completing the Result Submission Form, the winning player must provide a photo showing the full-time score. This photo must contain: the score, the team names and Gamer ID of both players. Click here to see an example of what photo we require.
Sending Video Clips
We want to share the action from the FQ E-Series, so we encourage players to record and provide short clips from their matches to Football Queensland which may be used to create highlight reels, goal packages, funny videos and more.
Videos can be sent to Football Queensland at marketing@footballqueensland.com.au, either sent directly through WeTransfer or shared links via OneDrive or DropBox.
