The Knockout Stages of the Football Queensland (FQ) E-Series competition have kicked off, with Round of 32 matches played over the weekend.
Now as we head into the Round of 16, it’s time for players across the state to prove themselves against the best in their competition.
The Round of 32 in the PS4 Juniors competition saw six regional players qualify for the Round of 16 alongside ten South East Queensland based participants. These included five players representing Central Queensland, including two each from Frenchville FC and Bluebirds FC, and one competitor from Across The Waves FC. Six Brisbane-based players and three from the Gold Coast also qualified for the Round of 16.
Players representing Brisbane and Gold Coast-based clubs also dominated in the Xbox Juniors competition, joined by representatives from North Queensland (including two from Saints Eagles Souths) and Mackay for the Round of 16.
In the PS4 Seniors competition, 11 of the 16 qualified players hail from Brisbane, while three Gold Coast players and one each from Central Queensland and South West Queensland have qualified for the next stage of the competition.
The Round of 32 in the Xbox Seniors competitions saw five players from the Gold Coast, eight from Brisbane, two from South West Queensland and one from North Queensland secure victory to book their spot in the Round of 16.

Tune in to the FQ Facebook page tomorrow, Thursday 2 July from 12pm for the FQ E-Series Round of 16 draw.
This draw will also include the draw for the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Grand Finals in each competition.
