Football Queensland has confirmed the season calendars for 2027 as a unified schedule will continue to connect each region through the statewide football pyramid.
The release of the calendars follows another huge year of football in Queensland, which featured major events and tournaments across the state and entertaining on-field action at every level of the game, from community to advanced competitions.
“As the 2027 season draws nearer, Football Queensland is pleased to release the season calendars which highlight the breadth of our game from grassroots competitions and carnivals to major statewide events like WinterFest and the Pacific Championships,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“The Mitre National Futsal Championships will return to the Gold Coast in January 2027 in an exciting start to the year on the court, before the Kappa Pro Series and statewide Kappa Queensland Cup competitions launch the outdoor season across the connected football pyramid.
“We’re also looking forward to providing more opportunities for Queenslanders to get involved in the game next year as we continue to deliver a range of inclusive programs and leagues for participants of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels.”
