Football Queensland has today announced a five-year partnership with iconic international sports brand Kappa as its official apparel partner from 2024. 

Football Queensland has released the season calendars for 2024, with a unified schedule to again be implemented across all regions following the introduction of the connected football pyramid. 

Over 500 members of the Queensland football community gathered at Brisbane City Hall on Saturday, 28 October to celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and clubs from across the state at the 2023 Football in Queensland Awards Night.

As Brisbane City FC and SWQ Thunder took to the field for the 2023 Macca’s™ FQPL 1 Women Grand Final last weekend, it was a young match official from Townsville and graduate of the FQ Referee Academy who led the sides out onto the state’s biggest stage, Suncorp Stadium. 

Football Queensland is pleased to announce the referee appointments for the 2023 National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland and Maccas® Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL) 1 Grand Finals, to be held this Sunday, 17 September.
