Football Queensland has today announced it will host an inaugural Queensland Football Convention in 2024, bringing together clubs, coaches, referees and participants from the length and breadth of Queensland across three engaging and immersive days. 

Football Queensland has today announced a five-year partnership with iconic international sports brand Kappa as its official apparel partner from 2024. 

Football Queensland has released the season calendars for 2024, with a unified schedule to again be implemented across all regions following the introduction of the connected football pyramid. 

Over 500 members of the Queensland football community gathered at Brisbane City Hall on Saturday, 28 October to celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and clubs from across the state at the 2023 Football in Queensland Awards Night.

Since Australia’s first public women’s football match was played on the grounds of the Brisbane Cricket Ground, the Gabba, on September 24, 1921, Queensland has blazed a path for women’s football. 

In partnership with TAFE Queensland, Football Queensland is pleased to announce the Football Queensland Diploma Program to be delivered in 2024. Building on the success of Football Queensland’s TAFE at School program, this post-school diploma is an ideal pathway for school-leavers, community coaches, administrators and volunteers who are looking to build a career in football.
