Interested in learning more about how the power of the mind can affect an athlete’s performance?
Meakin Park, the home of Football Queensland, is playing host to a free Sports Psychology workshop on Wednesday, 24 August.
Part of the Queensland Government’s Building Active Communities Workshops program, the three-hour workshop will teach techniques for calming the body and preparing the mind for performance.
Topics to be covered include understanding how the mind can affect performance and how to increase concentration, confidence, control and commitment.
Registration is required by Sunday, 21 August.
