Football Queensland now invites interested candidates to apply for the U13 Boys State Metro Team Head Coach and an Assistant Coach and U14 Boys State Metro Team Assistant Coach for the 2017 National Youth Championships.
Successful applicants, in conjunction with the State Technical Director and the Skill Acquisition Head Coach will be required to select players to attend the Championships which will be held in Coffs Harbour during September.
Required Commitment:
- Coaches will oversee players on field conduct from the initial selection process until the end of training/game/tournament.
- Coaches will be required to attend Representative Coaching and Development sessions as directed by the State Technical Director.
- Coaches will work within the guidelines set down by the State Technical Director and Football Queensland.
- Coaches will be required to attend and/or coach at specifically organised camps/sessions.
- Coaches will be required to liaise with the State Technical Director / Head Coach of Skill Acquisition matters concerning all technical matters, including but not limited to team-training format and trial games.
- Coaches will be required to liaise with appointed Football Queensland administrator on matters regarding training times, venues etc.
- Coaches will be required to present a team-training program to the State Technical Director/ Head Coach of Skill Acquisition.
- Coaches will be required to travel to and from the National Youth Championships with their team on the transport provided.
