International Football Coaching Conference Australia (IFCCA) has today announced The Courier-Mail’s Marco Monteverde as an event moderator at the conference, to be held at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast on Saturday, 25 May and Sunday, 26 May.
Monteverde joins sports presenters Adam Peacock, Simon Hill and Stephanie Brantz as event moderators at IFCCA.
Throughout his time as a football writer for The Courier-Mail and The Sunday Mail, Monteverde has extensively covered the Hyundai A-League since its inception in 2005, and has also covered three FIFA World Cups and two AFC Asian Cups.
Boasting over 22 years of experience in sports reporting, Monteverde said he was looking forward to being part of IFCCA.
“It will be a privilege to soak up the coaching knowledge and nous on offer at the conference,” Monteverde said.
Monteverde will join high-profile development and technical specialists in attendance at the conference, including Caltex Socceroos Head Coach Graham Arnold, incoming Football Federation Australia (FFA) Technical Director Rob Sherman and Sydney FC Academy Director Kelly Cross.
IFCCA will bring together experienced football professionals from around the world to share knowledge with coaches of all levels, from grassroots and community coaches to those in the National Premier Leagues and at professional clubs.
