Football Queensland (FQ) is excited to release the 2020-2022 Strategic Plan for football in Queensland.
The plan is the result of multiple state-wide facilitated strategy sessions undertaken to understand the opportunities for football throughout the state.
The next three years will see a focus on bettering the experience for all involved with the game, and the strategic plan communicates the high-level strategic priorities to be delivered in this time, as well as the values that will drive this positive change.
Strategic pillars identified in the 2020-2022 Strategic Plan will see a focus on participation, infrastructure, clubs and community, and leadership and people.
A number of key targets have been identified as part of these pillars and are outlined in the strategic plan.
These targets include growth in the number of registered participants across the game, development of female-friendly facilities, design of minimum standards for clubs across the various levels of football, and the implementation of a streamlined governance and administration model for football in Queensland.
FQ is excited to work with the football community across the state to deliver upon this strategic plan and continue to grow the beautiful game in Queensland.
