Football Queensland (FQ) has today confirmed the state teams for the 2020 FFA National Futsal Championships.
The national tournament will be held from Monday, 13 January to Friday, 17 January in Canberra, with 83 teams set to compete in the nation’s capital including nine squads from Queensland.
Ten Queensland match officials will also travel to Canberra to represent the state at the FFA National Futsal Championships.
FQ Futsal Administrator Trevor Edwards said a wealth of talent would be on display at the national tournament.
“We are excited to announce the state teams for the FFA National Futsal Championships, with Queensland’s best players across a range of age groups selected for next year’s national tournament,” Edwards said.
“In addition to the players named, ten match officials have also been selected to represent Queensland on the national stage at the tournament.
“The FFA National Futsal Championships will be a fantastic opportunity for our young Queenslanders to represent their state as they come up against their peers from across the country, and I look forward to watching them in action come January.”
