Feature Match: Lions FC v The Gap
Two hotly-tipped title contenders are set to battle it out this Saturday night as Lions FC host The Gap in our Round 2 Feature Match, live streamed to the FQ Facebook page.
The Gap showcased their enviable firepower over the weekend with no less than four players on the score sheet following their energetic 7-3 win away to SWQ Thunder in Toowoomba.
Lions on the other hand will be roaring to get on the pitch after Souths United forfeited prior to their opening round clash last Sunday.
No strangers to bagging a few goals themselves, Lions will be looking to key forwards Mariel Hecher and Tegan Riding to level the playing field in what’s sure to be a cracking game.
After securing the Premiership-Championship double in 2019, Lions will be eager to get their season off to a winning start as they challenge for the title again in 2020.
