Regional Talent Support Program (TSP) Carnivals will be held in Rockhampton and Cairns this weekend for young male and female footballers from Central Queensland (CQ), Mackay, North Queensland and Far North Queensland.
Football Queensland (FQ)’s Talent Support Program provides players aged 13 to 16 with access to a quality training environment which complements their club training.
“This weekend’s Regional TSP Carnivals in Rockhampton and Cairns will be a fantastic opportunity for some of our most talented young players to put their skills on show as they come up against their peers from neighbouring regions,” State Technical Director Gabor Ganczer said.
“Football Queensland’s Talent Support Program is a key development tool for our regional footballers, and events like the upcoming Regional TSP Carnivals are critical in their ongoing growth and development as players.
“These events also provide talent identification opportunities for those participating, and we look forward to seeing the talent on show this weekend in Rockhampton and Cairns.
“Players and coaches, including national team staff, will be able to access every game’s footage to review and monitor players’ progress even while the boarders remain closed.”
