The surge towards the end of the season is well and truly on across FQPL 3 Metro. Here is a brief preview of what is to come.

Men’s

Centenary Stormers will be hoping to move further away from the relegation zone when they host Toowong on Friday night. Pine Hills and UQFC face off at James Drysdale Reserve with both sides hopeful of picking up maximum points. Western Spirit will be hoping to claw their way closer to safety when they take on Bayside who are in a fight for a playoff spot. Acacia Ridge’s recent good form will be on display when they take on The Gap away from home. The Lakes will be eager to keep up pace in the league title race when they host Mt Gravatt. League leaders St. George Willawong and Newmarket lock horns in what will be a hard game for both sides.

Women’s

Mt Gravatt host Bethania in the Women’s looking to take hold of the second place in the league standings. Champions North Brisbane face off against fourth placed Toowong at home looking to continue their undefeated season. North Star welcome Caboolture with the visitors hoping to close the gap to second spot with a win. Springfield can overtake their opponents Ipswich City Bulls with a win when the two sides meet at Springfield Central Complex. Southside Eagles have the bye.
