Football Queensland is inviting nominations for Service to Football and Community awards in every region as part of the 2023 Football in Queensland Awards.
Award winners will be recognised at regional level across a number of categories and will go on to represent their region as nominees for the equivalent state award as part of the integrated statewide format.
“Football Queensland is excited to welcome nominations for the 2023 Football in Queensland Awards as we celebrate what has been an incredibly significant year for our game with the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ held here on home soil,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“As yet another Queensland football season begins to draw to a close, we’re looking forward to acknowledging the incredible contributions of individuals and clubs across the state who make a significant impact both on and off the field.
“I’d encourage all members of our football community to nominate outstanding individuals within their club or network as we take the opportunity to celebrate the 2023 season and all who’ve helped make it a great one.”
Following the announcement of award recipients within each region, the highest achieving community winners will be celebrated at state level at the 2023 Football in Queensland Awards Night.
Submit a nomination for the Service to Football and Community awards within your region.
Nominations close at 11:59pm on Sunday, 20 August 2023.
