Football Queensland is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Campbell to the role of Manager – Far North & Gulf.
Campbell brings over two decades of extensive experience in project management, event coordination, and venue management to the role, having built a distinguished career holding key leadership positions at esteemed organisations including FIFA, Adelaide United FC, and the South Australian Jockey Club.
Her notable accomplishments also include successfully overseeing high-profile events such as the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ at Hindmarsh Stadium in Adelaide and the Great Barrier Reef Masters Games.
“We are excited to welcome Sarah to Football Queensland and to lead our game in the Far North & Gulf region,” General Manager – Northern Conference Craig Ramage said.
“Her wealth of experience and achievements in sports management will undoubtedly drive our strategic initiatives forward and promote greater growth and engagement in the Far North and Gulf football community.”
“I am thrilled to be a part of football in my adopted home of Cairns. After being involved in administration of the game at a national and international level, it is great to now be involved at the grassroots level,” Campbell said.
“I also endeavour to put our code of football in the spotlight and gather as much local and regional support for our sport as possible.
