Football Queensland is excited to announce that best-selling author and award-winning peak performance speaker, Ross Bernstein, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Queensland Football Convention, scheduled for Saturday, 2 November and Sunday, 3 November.

“With nearly 25 years dedicated to uncovering the secrets of winning teams through interviews with thousands of professional athletes and coaches, Ross will share powerful stories, valuable lessons, and key trends that distinguish consistent winners in both sports and business, providing invaluable insights for the Queensland football community.
“As one of only three professional speakers worldwide to hold the CPAE (Speaker Hall of Fame), CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), and Global Speaking Fellow designations, Ross’s keynote will not only set the tone for the convention but also lead seamlessly into the specialised breakout convention sessions for our coaches, referees, and club representatives.”
Ross Bernstein is a best-selling author with nearly 50 sports books to his name, and he shares insights from his work at more than 100 conferences each year for some of the world’s biggest brands, exploring what sets champions apart in sports and how those principles apply to the business world.
With unique behind-the-scenes access to major sports teams and franchises as a prominent media member, Bernstein has connected with and interviewed countless professional athletes, teams and coaches, forming his expertise of high-performance individual and team dynamics.
His renowned signature program, ‘The Champion’s Code: Building Relationships Through Life Lessons of Integrity and Accountability from the Sports World to the Business World’, emphasises that while individuals may win games, it is teams that ultimately win championships.

In addition to the convention sessions, the Queensland Football Convention will also include a cocktail networking event at the Sunset Lounge at Suncorp Stadium for Brisbane Roar Men’s home opener against Sydney FC on Friday, 1 November, and the Football in Queensland Awards Night at Brisbane City Hall.
