Football Queensland (FQ) is excited to announce a new multi-year partnership with Restore Function Physiotherapy as FQ’s official Physiotherapy Partner, strengthening our commitment to providing Queensland’s most talented players with access to elite preparation, injury prevention, testing and rehabilitation. 

The partnership will see Restore Function Physiotherapy deliver comprehensive physiotherapy and strength and conditioning services across key FQ Academy and Queensland State Team programs, as well as emerging talent programs and major representative events throughout the year.  

“Our partnership with Restore Function Physiotherapy is a key step in continuing to raise the standard of FQ Academy and State Team programs,” Football Queensland CEO Robert Cavallucci said.  

“Restore Function Physiotherapy will deliver a range of services across our boys’ and girls’ pathways, including training and match coverage, injury screening, rehabilitation and high performance support.  

“This ensures our players are supported through a consistent, high-quality approach to injury prevention, management and return to play, aligned with the demands of high-performance football.  

“The experience everyone at Restore Function Physiotherapy bring from elite sport will help to further professionalise our programs and support the long-term development and wellbeing of Queensland players.”  

Restore Function Physiotherapy Owner and Founder Miranda O’Hara said the partnership reflects a shared focus on ensuring young athletes have access to high quality sports physiotherapy services. 

“We’re proud to partner with Football Queensland and support its Academy and State Team players with high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy and high performance programs,” O’Hara said 

“Our role is to work closely with players and staff to deliver injury prevention, rehabilitation and S&C programs that support sustainable high performance and long-term athlete development.”  

As part of the partnership, Football Queensland registered players will be eligible for a 10 per cent discount across all Restore Function Physiotherapy services located in Greenslopes, Brisbane.
