Football Queensland (FQ) is pleased to announce Ausco Modular as the organisation’s official modular facilities partner, collaborating to deliver high-specification facilities for all club levels around Queensland.
Brisbane-based Ausco Modular will work closely with FQ’s Infrastructure and Government Relations team to design and deliver building solutions that will support growth in football by improving the quality, access and condition of football facilities across the state.
Ausco Modular delivers facilities up to 60 per cent faster and more efficiently than traditional site-built construction methods and at 15-30 per cent less cost.
“We’re delighted to partner with Ausco Modular ahead the release of our Statewide Facilities Strategic Plan,” FQ CEO Richard Griffiths said.
“The Statewide Facilities Strategic Plan is an initiative designed to identify and prioritise football facility needs across the state and this partnership is a significant step in the process.”
Ausco Modular Executive Adrian Moffatt said Ausco Modular was excited to be assisting FQ with the implementation of its Statewide Facilities Strategic Plan and helping clubs to facilitate their need for new or upgraded facilities.
“The lower build cost, significant time-savings and end-to-end project management makes Ausco Modular sporting facilities perfect for clubs where administrative and playing resources are already stretched,” he said.
Consultation with football clubs, zones, local councils and government authorities for the development of the Statewide Facilities Strategic Plan began in August last year, with extensive work across the state already undertaken as part of the audit phase.
The Statewide Facilities Strategic Plan, which will include the key findings and recommendations from the consultation process, will be released shortly.
