With one game already completed in the National Premier League Women’s (NPLW) Queensland in Round 10, it leaves 10 teams to battle it out on Easter Monday, with Lions FC and The Gap clash featuring as Match of the Round.
The NPLW Match of the Round can be viewed live and on demand on the FQ website, FQ Facebook and FQ YouTube channel.
It will be a top four clash on Monday evening, with The Gap looking to win their first match since Round 5 while the Lions will be wanting to maintain their unbeaten streak and jump to the top of the table.
The last time these two sides met was in Round 24 last season with The Gap leaving fans in shock when they put eight in the back of the net and retained a clean sheet.
It is still the Lions’ biggest defeat in the NPLW Queensland.
Tiarne Petterwood, who is now back with Logan Lightning, scored five goals herself that day.
Lions head into the match off the back of an 8-1 win over SWQ Thunder with three current or former W-League players getting on the scoreboard with American Cannon Clough scoring a double.
The Gap on the other hand went down to Moreton Bay United 3-2 last round and lost Talitha Doro to a red card, which all happened after heading into halftime level at 1-1.
