Football Queensland welcomes bipartisan support for the future of football in Cairns, with both the ALP`s Nita Green and Matt Smith - Labor Candidate for Leichhardt alongside the LNP`s Jeremy Neal - LNP Candidate for Leichhardt, announcing $4.1 million commitments to upgrade Endeavour Park, should their party be elected in May.
The investment will fund new field lighting, a new Centre of Excellence, and an upgraded canteen and change rooms, boosting the experience for thousands of players, coaches, referees, volunteers and supporters who rely on Endeavour Park every week.
Football Queensland’s Federal Election #EQUALISER campaign continues to champion the need for football infrastructure investment and welcomes commitments from candidates in electorates across the state. As the game continues to grow, FQ remains focused on advocating for the facilities needed to meet rising demand and support the football pathway.
