Calling Emerging Career Coaches
Bardon Latrobe Football Club (BLFC) is looking for a Technical Director of Miniroos to join our team.
As the Technical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all volunteer parent coaches have the best opportunity to develop their coaching skills, in turn providing the best guidance for our miniroos players.
This part-time, casual role offers flexible hours and training on weekday afternoons. C-license is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Educating coaches, with a particular focus on incoming U6 coaches
- Ensuring all coaches understand the rules of the miniroos games
- Helping coaches structure fun and educational training sessions
- Providing education through demonstration
- Facilitating pre-season and mid-season training day camps
- Progressing U8/9 coaches in skills
- Progressing U10-12 coaching into Skill Acquisition Phase
- Creating and expanding on coaching resources
We value the development of our coaches as much as our players. If you’re passionate about football and want to make a difference in the coaching community, we’d love to hear from you.
