The Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL) 1 and 2 competitions underpin the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland through a system of promotion and relegation.
The FQPL also serves as the premier regional competition across the state, connecting clubs from the Far North to the South Coast as part of Queensland’s statewide football pyramid.

Registrations are now open for the Queensland Para Football team trials ahead of the 2025 National Para Football Championships in Melbourne ⚽
To be eligible for the Men’s or Women’s state team trials, participants must be 12 years or older and have Cerebral Palsy, an acquired brain injury, or symptoms resulting from a stroke.
Trials will be held on Saturday, 18 October and Saturday, 25 October at FQ’s Nudgee Recreation Reserve.
The National Para Football Championships and FQ’s Para Football program provide opportunities for players to be scouted for the CommBank @paramatildas and CommBank @pararoos.

Football Queensland’s Club Assessment Rank Score continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the #FQAcademy Leagues ⚽
Throughout the year, each club is evaluated across 1,500 data points covering 75 weighted criteria, with the culmination of this process seeing clubs receive a final quality assured academy rating of Gold, Silver, Bronze or Development Committed.
Aligned with global best practice, the Club Development Assessment process ensures clubs deliver quality assured programs and clear pathways for young players. The 2025 Club Development and Assessment Guide is now available, offering deeper insight into the criteria used in this year`s assessment process.
