About the Role
The purpose of this role is to grow participation and engagement with local communities through football.
There are two positions available; 1 position in Rockhampton and 1 position in Gladstone.
You will work with national and local program coordinators to deliver state and national initiatives, such as, but not limited to Schools, MiniRoos, Walking Football, Multicultural Football, Disability Football, Women and Girls, Futsal and Social Football Programs.
Key Performance Measures for this role include;
- Growing participation and engagement as identified in the 2020-2022 Football Queensland Strategic Plan;
- Growing the number of community engagement activations and initiatives; and
- Increase awareness and promotion of football
A significant amount of mid-week evening, and weekend work is required for this position.

About You
To be eligible for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience within the game of football (player, referee, coach, administrator)
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate collaborative and inclusive approach to problem solving
- Attained or willingness to attain a Skills Training Certificate
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Passion to develop the game of football
- Driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Ability to demonstrate collaborative and inclusive approach to problem solving
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiasm and a high level of self-motivation and initiative
This is a probationary, part-time maximum term contract of 12 months.
