MiniRoos Kick Off Girls School Program sees Football Queensland, Football Australia and Clubs working together to deliver programs in schools across the state that encourage girls to learn about football while getting active in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.
Club and FQ Coaches work together to deliver 3 week sessions at local schools, engaging new participants and developing relationships between new players with their local club. Participants can easily transition from the school program to a team or program at the club venue, ideally run by the same coach who delivered at the school! This creates a soft entry, reducing the anxiety for participants and parents alike when starting a new sport at a new club.

Football Queensland are working with Rochedale Rovers Football Club to deliver a three week program at MacGregor State School. Sessions will be fun and inclusive for girls of all skill levels. Coaches from Football Queensland and Rochedale Rovers will deliver the sessions, and all participants will receive a football a Matildas poster, as well as invitations to ongoing opportunities at Rochedale Rovers.
