ABOUT
The Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL) Wide Bay Women’s is the top-flight competition in Wide Bay, connected to the rest of the state via the FQPL framework.
Established in 2022 as part of the Future of Football 2020+ reforms, the FQPL Wide Bay Women’s sits within the Central Conference and includes 9 teams from Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
The FQPL Wide Bay Women’s replaces the old Wide Bay Premier League Women’s, which in 2021 Sunbury Blues claimed the Premiership title, while United Park Eagles secured the Grand Final.
From 2022, the top team from the FQPL Wide Bay Women’s and FQPL Central Coast Women’s will play off against one another in a Champions League-style competition throughout each season to determine the Conference winner.
