This weekend the SWQ football community will unite in memory of Jake Simpson.

At just 22 years old, Jake sadly passed away after a three year battle with a form of bone cancer know as Ewing Sarcoma.

Both Willowburn SC and Rockville Rovers FC have supported Jake’s family throughout this trying time and will combine forces this Saturday as their Premier Men’s teams compete in this first Annual Jake Simpson Memorial Trophy Match.

All proceeds raised at the game will go towards Melissa Hollman’s Shave for a Cure to help raise $10,000 for cancer research.
