Gold Coast club Magic United TFA is getting into the spirit of Female Football Week by hosting a pre-season carnival for girls this Sunday, 13 March.
Scheduled to run from 8.30am – 1.30pm, the carnival is open to nominations from U11 (seven-a-side) and U12 (nine-a-side) girls teams from the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.
Girls of all age groups who would like to learn more about the game or are interested in playing football this season are also welcome to attend and speak with one of Magic United TFA’s coaches.
The day will be another celebration of female football in keeping with the aim of Female Football Week to recognise the role girls and women play in making the world game great.
