From an initial field of 113, Queensland’s remaining Westfield FFA Cup hopefuls have been whittled down to just 17 teams.
Only four places in the national Round of 32 are up for grabs with the remaining 16 Preliminary Rounds teams to be confirmed on Wednesday night, when reigning PlayStation® 4 National Premier Leagues champions Moreton Bay United host sixth-placed Flight Centre Premier League outfit Capalaba FC.
Beyond Brisbane, eight teams are still alive in the hunt for two qualification spots after Wide Bay club United Park Eagles and Mackay’s Magpies FC both posted convincing victories over the long weekend.
