Football Queensland is delighted to welcome Escape Travel as its new Official Travel Partner and Supporting Sponsor.

Escape Travel is an iconic brand in the travel market and has stores across the state, providing Queenslanders with deals and advice for booking flights and holidays.

The new partnership is a formalisation of a long-running relationship and will see Escape Travel facilitate flights for PlayStation® 4 National Premier Leagues and representative State Teams.

Queensland’s community clubs will also benefit from the ‘Kick Back Club’, a referral-based program which enables clubs to raise funds through online or in-person bookings made with any of the Townsville, Mackay or Rockhampton franchise stores.

Clubs that register to be part of the Kick Back Club will receive a unique code to be quoted during booking.

They will then earn 1% in travel dollars or 0.5% in cash of all booked travel.

Football Queensland CEO Geoff Foster said the new partnership is built on the strength of the existing relationship.

“We have experience working with Escape Travel and confidence in the quality of service they provide,” Mr Foster said.

“We recommend Escape Travel to the state’s entire football family as a strong supporter of our game.”

Escape Travel Owner Debbie Rains said the agreement is a natural extension of her Queensland franchises’ support of football in the state.

“Escape Travel is excited to be partnering with Football Queensland as their travel manager,” Ms Rains said.

“We look forward to not only supporting the senior competition but also the fundraising efforts of local clubs through our Kick Back Club.

“We encourage all clubs to promote this offer to friends and families to help grow their referrals and therefore their sponsorship.”
