Seven young PlayStation® 4 National Premier Leagues stars have been given the chance to push for Hyundai A-League minutes by earning call-ups to Brisbane Roar’s squad for pre-season training.
Joe Caletti, Joseph Champness, Nick D’Agostino (pictured), Nathan Konstandopoulos, Connor O’Toole, Jayden Prasad and Mark Rodic will all get the chance to impress Roar boss John Aloisi when the three-time champions return to the track next month.
All seven have continued their development with significant minutes for Young Roar in the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues this term.
Champness and Prasad in particular have enjoyed sharp rises after initially catching the eye with Moreton Bay United and Redlands United respectively.

Young Roar coach Josh McCloughan is pleased to see his players preparing to take the next step on Queensland’s elite player pathway.
“The NPL continues to provide a great pathway for the development of our players,” McCloughan told brisbaneroar.com.au.
“The selected players have been given an opportunity now to impress in the A-League pre-season.”
With the selected seven now taking a break ahead of senior pre-season training, McCloughan has already begun to cast the net for Young Roar’s next talented recruits.
The club yesterday confirmed the addition of Western Pride midfielder Daniel McHenery after the 19-year-old impressed on trial.
“Now that they’ve moved up, we’re looking for the next generation of players from not only the NPL but from the wider-Brisbane and Queensland football communities,” McCloughan said.
“We want the best young Queensland footballers playing for our club and developing in our environment.”
