Easts head to AJ Kelly Park hoping to cause an upset, with Rochedale and Logan ready to pull away should they fail to take the points. Mitchelton meanwhile could put themselves into the promotion mix with a win at Ballinger Park in Round 15 of the FQPL.
Peninsula Power v Eastern Suburbs

Power welcome Easts
A run of six successive victory’s saw the Eastern Suburbs race into the top four, last weeks defeat at home to Logan was a big blow against a promotion rival.
It doesn’t get any easier for the Tigers though as they head to AJ Kelly Park to take on a Power side who are now unbeaten in thirteen FQPL matches.
Unlucky for some – and the Power could be vulnerable on Saturday evening as their eyes potentially wander towards Tuesday night’s FFA Cup clash against Brisbane Strikers. Could the Tigers pounce with their opponents attention wandering?
Sunshine Coast Wanderers v Mitchelton FC
Ballinger Park

Could the Mustangs leapfrog Wanderers?
Last week’s bye, coupled with successive defeats against Peninsula Power and Logan Lightning means that the Wanderers haven’t tasted victory in over a month and it won’t get any easier against the Mustangs.
Mitchelton have already got over last weeks defeat with a tight midweek victory against Holland Park at Whites Hill Reserve, bringing their recent tally to five wins in their last seven games.
A win for Mitchelton could see them jump into the top four for the first time this season and condemn the Wanderers to a fourth defeat in their last five.
Logan Lightning v Wolves
Cornubia Park
Saturday, 26 May, 6:00pm
Lightning out to double up against Wolves
Logan bounced back from their 4-3 defeat to Mitchelton a fortnight ago with an impressive 4-2 victory over Easts at Heath Park last weekend to jump back into the top four and will look to consolidate that position on Saturday night.
Wolves resurgence has stalled somewhat over the past fortnight as the Wynnum side have gone winless in their last two games against Capalaba and Souths bringing a four match winning run to an end.
The hosts ran out 5-2 victors over Wolves in the reverse fixture at Carmichael Park.
Capalaba Bulldogs v Rochedale Rovers

Bulldogs target Cup-tired Rovers
Rochedale needed a late Kai Halliday intervention to extend their unbeaten run to five games with a 2-2 draw against Souths last time out and will have to be wary against a Capalaba side that picked up a draw of their own last time out against Wolves.
Capalaba will fancy this one after Rovers’ heartbreaking FFA Cup defeat shootout defeat against Lions on Wednesday night meant that the Rochedale players will have 120 minutes of extra running in their legs to contend with on the vast expanses of the John Frederick Sports Fields.
Souths United v Southside Eagles
Wakerley Park
Saturday, 26 May, 7:15pm
Souths wary of soaring Eagles
Souths United face a potential banana skin after their impressive performance against second placed Rochedale last time out but have only won three of their six matches at Wakerley Park
Southside Eagles have won their last two in the league and will be full of confidence after beating Souths in the reverse fixture at Perry Park back in February.
Southside Eagles average just over one and a half goals per game and if they can better that, they’ll be in for a shout. Souths have not won a game in which their opponent has scored two or more goals this year.

Knights desperate to down Hawks
The Knight’s 2018 troubles continued last week as they lost their tenth straight game against fellow strugglers Southside Eagles, the 1-0 scoreline marking a worrying return to their goalscoring woes.
Holland Park were brought crashing back down to earth on Wednesday night, their 3-2 victory a counterpoint to last weekend’s 9-1 thumping of Wide Bay Buccaneers.
Last time out the Hawks ran out 5-1 winners thanks to a Marek Madle hat-trick. Worryingly for the Knights he is in devastating form of late, scoring seven in his past three matches.
Wide Bay Buccaneers – BYE
Wide Bay will be given an opportunity to recover after another poor run of results before regathering themselves to hunt for a first win of the season in their remaining games.
