With a win, Lions FC can go top of the NPLW ladder if the Gap FC drop points against Mitchelton, while BRFC/NTC chase fourth and SWQ Thunder go searching for just their second win of the campaign.

Souths aiming for three straight

Souths United will go looking for their third straight victory when they travel to Cornubia Park to clash with Logan Lightning.

Souths are also within touching distance of top spot, as they only sit three points behind the top two teams, making every win crucial as the competition draws to a close.

 

Sunshine Coast Wanderers v Capalaba Bulldogs

Wanderers host Bulldogs

Sunshine Coast Wanderers will be looking to avoid three straight losses when they welcome Capalaba Bulldogs to Ballinger Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Wanderers will be reeling after last week’s 7-1 defeat at the hands of Moreton Bay and will be looking to steady the ship against an inconsistent Bulldogs outfit.

 

Eastern Suburbs v BRFC/NTC

In-form Roar clash with Suburbs

BRFC will be optimistic they can continue their push for a finals birth when they travel to Heath Park to take on Eastern Suburbs.

The Roar have been in scintillating form of late, winning their last eight in a row. Easts are on a streak of their own, having won their last two on the bounce.

Lions chasing top spot

Lions FC will be hoping for a slip up from the Gap FC as they chase top spot against Mudgeeraba on Saturday night.

The in-form Lions will be full of confidence having put seven past SWQ Thunder last round.

Mudgeeraba on the other hand sit 13th and are without a win in their past 10 outings.

The Gap going for nine in a row

Ladder leaders the Gap travel to Teralba Park looking to lock up top spot for another week with their ninth consecutive victory.

They have been red hot in front of goal, scoring 15 times in their last three games.

United welcome Pride

Gold Coast United host Western Pride FC at Runaway Bay Soccer Club on Sunday afternoon.

Both teams will be desperate for a win as they attempt to get back into form for the final run in of games.

Thunder seeking second win

SWQ Thunder will once again go chasing just their second win of the campaign when they travel to Wolter Park to face the Jets.

Their chances of securing an elusive three points against high flying Moreton Bay look slim, with the in-form hosts looking to further cement their position in fourth.
