The full draw of the 2018 South East Queensland Futsal Premier League (SEQFPL) season has been released ahead of next weekend’s opening round.
The competing clubs will contest a 10-week home and away season, before the SEQFPL Finals Series on 8-9 December (seniors) and 15-16 December (juniors).
In the opening round of SEQFPL open men’s action, Redlands City Futsal host Arana United, Galaxy FC face Bundaberg Futsal at Carrara and Moreton Bay Futsal travel north to play Sunshine Coast Wave.
In the open women’s competition, Redlands City Futsal and Sunshine Coast Wave also host Arana United and Moreton Bay Futsal respectively while new club SWQ Hurricanes welcome Galaxy FC at their home venue, Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre.
Clubs will compete in the following age groups, for the SEQFPL Club Championship:
- Under 12 Boys
- Under 13 Girls
- Under 14 Boys
- Under 15 Girls
- Under 16 Boys
- Under 17 Girls
- Youth (17-19) Men
- Open Women
- Open Men
Arana United Futsal Club, Galaxy FC, Moreton Bay Futsal, Redlands United FC Futsal and Sunshine Coast Wave will compete in all age groups.
Bundaberg Wildcats will compete in all male age groups, while SWQ Hurricanes will contest all female age groups as the sixth club in the respective competitions.
Galaxy FC are defending title holders, after the club won the SEQ Club Championship following their overall victory in 2017.
