Registrations for Football Queensland’s 2018 State Coaching Conference are now open.
This year’s event will be held at the Anglican Church Grammar School in East Brisbane on Saturday, 24 November and, in a major coup for Queensland coaches, will include a presentation from Joeys Head Coach Trevor Morgan.
Morgan will be on hand to present an on-field practical display of the impending Game Intervention Game (GIG) methodology.
In addition to Morgan, guest speaker Ian Renshaw will deliver a presentation on contemporary skill acquisition theory, the best way to practice it, and its most effective application in football.
This theory is applicable from grassroots through to the elite level of football and is designed for both the junior and senior levels of coaching.
The conference is an opportunity for coaches who hold or are in the process of obtaining an advanced licence to receive 50 points towards their licence re-validation.
