With the Westfield Matildas heading to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France this year, there will be multiple ways Queensland fans can watch the national team compete.
The Westfield Matildas will come up against Italy, Brazil and Jamaica after being drawn in Group C for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, to be held in June and July of this year.
SBS will be airing every Matildas game live in the group stages, before showing every game of the tournament live from the Quarter Finals to the Final.
A daily highlights and analysis show will also be aired on SBS, from the team in Australia and those at the tournament in France.
Optus Sport will also be covering the FIFA Women’s World Cup, broadcasting all 52 games live and providing pre and post-match coverage.
The Westfield Matildas’ campaign will kick off on Sunday, 9 June as the national team come up against Italy at 9pm AEST, before taking on Brazil at 2am AEST on Friday, 14 June.
The group stages will then conclude on Wednesday, 19 June at 5am AEST as Australia takes on Jamaica.
