Wolves FC and Logan Lightning will take centre stage in the Round 9 Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL) Match of the Round.

Both Wolves and Lightning come into the game off the back of 3-3 draws.
Lightning had to come from behind in a tussle with Ipswich Knights while Wolves fought from 3-0 down in the first half to equalise with a late winner last week.
It’s a mixed match up with Logan leading the competition by a point and Wolves sitting in the mid-table position.
Wolves have had a mixed season so far with two wins, two draws and four losses, while their opposition hasn’t lost since Round 5.
The last time Lightning and Wolves met was in Round 15 last season with Logan coming from behind to snatch a 2-1 win.

Capalaba FC v Rochedale Rovers
It’s 2nd v 4th in this Saturday night clash. A win could lift the Rovers into second depending on other results while three points for Capalaba could take them into first if Logan draw or lose.
Sunshine Coast Wanderers v Ipswich Knights
The Wanderers haven’t won a game since Round 5, with a 3-2 loss and 3-3 draw their latest results, while Knights claimed all three points against Mitchelton three weeks ago. Ipswich also sit a point outside the top four with a negative goal difference leaving them in sixth spot.
Players to watch:
Frederick Yinka-Kehinde (Holland Park): Currently tied with two other players in the Golden Boot race, Yinka-Kehinde has scored seven of the side’s 16 goals this season.
Shunjiro Shibuya (Souths United): His five goal haul lifted him into Golden Boot contention and also helped his side to 6-1 win last week.
Thomas Sullivan (Mitchelton): Despite the result he made a number of outstanding saves to keep the scoreline to 2-1 in his team’s Round 8 clash.
