Football Queensland (FQ) has announced the players who will represent the state at the Westfield National Youth Championships for Girls in July.
The Under 14 and Under 15 state teams will travel to Coffs Harbour to compete in the tournament, to be held between Monday, 15 July and Friday, 19 July.
FQ High Performance Officer Tom McDonald said he was looking forward to seeing the state teams perform at this year’s Westfield National Youth Championships for Girls.
“I’m extremely excited to see how the girls go as this is our first year of being able to offer most players a full-time training environment through the QAS program,” McDonald said.
“Our goal for the tournament is to showcase the players to the best of their ability for the national selections, so winning is not at the forefront of our mind.”
