Football Queensland (FQ) is excited to announce the inaugural Football in Queensland Awards Night.
The 2019 Football in Queensland Awards Night will be held on Saturday, 2 November in the Grand Windsor Ballroom at the Pullman Hotel in Brisbane.
Members of the Queensland football community from across the state and from all levels of the game are invited to celebrate the 2019 football season.
A variety of awards will be presented on the night, recognising the outstanding achievements of individuals and clubs at both community level and from FQ’s Premier competitions.
FQ will award the Community Referee of the Year Award in honour of Queensland referee Dieter Klose, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
Other community awards presented on the night will include Volunteer of the Year, Community Club of the Year and the Service to Football Award, among others.
The outstanding achievements of players, coaches and referees from the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland, National Premier Leagues Women’s (NPLW) Queensland and Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL) will also be recognised on the night.
FQ’s highest individual accolades will be presented on the night, with awards including Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, the Des Miles Referee of the Year and Young Player of the Year awarded, among others.
