The National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland Junior Grand Finals will be held this Sunday, 22 September at AJ Kelly Park.

The four Grand Final fixtures have been confirmed following last weekend’s Semi Final matches, with Lions FC set to feature in three of the four Junior NPL Queensland Grand Finals.

In the Under 13 Grand Final, Premiers Brisbane City will take on SWQ Thunder. The two sides have had a close battle all year, finishing the regular season on equal points with City claiming the Premiership on goal difference, so this Grand Final match is set to be a fascinating one.

Lions FC will meet Brisbane Strikers in the Under 14 NPL Queensland Grand Final after both sides recorded solid wins against top two sides Moreton Bay United and Gold Coast United in the Semi Finals to book their Grand Final spot.

Under 15 NPL Queensland Premiers Sunshine Coast FC meanwhile will seek to secure the Premiership-Championship double as they come up against a Lions FC side that recorded a vital Semi Final win against Gold Coast United to progress to the Grand Final.

Premiership-winning Under 16 NPL Queensland side Lions FC will take on Brisbane Roar FC in Sunday’s Under 16 Grand Final after both sides recorded Semi Final wins against Gold Coast United and Brisbane City respectively.
